Back in September we had our Grade Exam Submissions over at CGC Academy. We have been consistently receiving higher and higher quality submissions every round and we’re so delighted in the hard work each of our members puts in to these exams. So I’m happy to be able to share with you the repertoire portion of a Grade 6 exam from one of our members, Andrew Duxfield. Andrew did a stunning job with his submission so please do offer him your congratulations in the comments below and enjoy this wonderful performance!.
Andrew, congratulations on your wonderful presentation. So grand to hear.

Great job Andrew. Thank you for sharing, Best wishes on your journey !!
Andrew, this is very well done. I don’t know if this is inspirational (hearing this music played so well by a ‘student’) or discouraging (hearing how well it was played compared to my own playing). Regardless, congratulations are definitely in order here. dave
Very nice, Andrew! Excellent expression and emotion in bringing these pieces to life. And I must say very inspirational. You make me want to play much more.
Very will done. Very mature and balanced delivery. You seem to pull it all off with ease, which of course it really is not.
Congrats Andrew! I’m working on Maria Luisa now even though I am submitting a G4 in March.
Wonderfully played. Whenever I get in front of a camera my fingers freeze but you seems to play effortlessly. I can only hope to one day play that well.
Cheers,
Lee.
Outstanding…I really enjoyed your performance
Excellent and fluent performance! Keep it up Andrew!

Big fan of your work, Andrew. Can’t wait to see you play again.
Keep up the brilliant work!
Cheers,

Andrew, that was beautiful. The sound was great but I also enjoyed watching your left hand…it was like a ballerina dancing across the fret board…precise yet graceful. I look forward to more of your submissions. JR
Nicely done. The results of your work have really paid off.
