Hello Simon, Thank you for the wonderful recap of summer school. The community of people who participated and the folks of CGC in general are a fantastic collection of musical enthusiasts. The podcast, interviews and pictures give a good sense of the success of the week.
Thanks so much for the review of the week; it puts everything into perspective. A beautiful place with beautiful music and beautiful people!
Thanks Simon for creating this great opportunity for ALL guitarists: young, old, experienced, and everyone in between. It was a very special week, and an inspiration for sure. I’ve enjoyed watching and listening as well as looking at all of the photos. I see lots of faces from the 2017 summer school and some new ones as well. As always, kudos to Simon and Dave who make it all happen. I hope I am able to return next summer.

I just wanted to add a comment about something you said in the podcast about Summer School. You noted how positive everyone is on the site. How everyone supports each other with great feedback and encouragement. You made the comment that you weren’t sure how it happened. I am not a management expert, but my feeling is that the culture of any organization is set by its leadership. You set the positive tone every time you provide instruction, correction, and feedback. Dave carries out this same spirit of encouragement. And now you have added Connie and Kevin who are of the same nature. And, Evita is the icing on the cake. No doubt, people such as Roger, Linda, and Drew do a tremendous job of carrying this out within the community. And, so many more do, that it would be futile to try to name them all. But, again, all of it begins with the leader. So, thank you for creating this platform for all of us. And, thank you to all of the staff for providing such great encouragement.
